The Health Promotion March Break Camp is an opportunity for 40 youth from across the province to come together for four days at Brigadoon Village and talk about all sorts of different health topics.

There are a ton of activities/games/interactive sessions planned.
This is a great opportunity for anyone who is interested in health to meet other peers from across the province as well as professionals coming from many different sectors.
See attached documents for more information and to register.
Please disregard where it mentions February as a final date for registration.

2. Programming Idea for Groups - JOTT 2012
from George Mawko, Dartmouth Area Commissioner (scoutergeorge@ns.sympatico.ca)

Tommy Oickle, DCC Programs, asked me to pass this along....Jamboree On The Trail is an annual day for the World Scout Movement to hike together.

All Scouts, whatever their age and wherever they may be in the world, are invited to participate in whatever way they can. Cubs and younger Scouting sections could visit a local nature trail as part of a weekend camp or even a day hike.

A Scout Troop might check out a hiking trail while working on badge requirements. A Rover Crew might make a Service Project out of restoring or maintaining a hiking trail.

In their own way, everyone will be hiking the same direction: towards a better future through Scouting. JOTT is held on the second Saturday of May each year.

If your group is interested, please see the following web-site. www.jott.org
You can order crests by sending a cheque to Keith Barr (whose address is on the registration form).

If your registration is done by March 31, 2011, the crests will be provided by the JOTT Date.
